Additives Survivors' Network (UK) was formed in March 2000
developed from the Aspartame Survivors' Network (UK) which was
launched in August 1999. Originally, ASN(UK) was primarily brought
about by a group of like minded individuals aware of the controversy
surrounding the artificial sweetener aspartame and questioning
its continued use. We are renamed Additives Survivors' Network
to reflect growing public disquiet over the considerable number
of additives believed to trigger health problems. The following
information is largely based upon the facts surrounding aspartame
but it's anticipated that our next Updated Fact Sheet, that information
provided will cover general aspects relevant to a range of additives.
